A youth club in Coventry has secured a £1,000 donation as part of our Community Champions initiative.

Stoke Heath Youth Club provides a safe, recreational space for young people in Stoke Heath, Coventry. The club has been fundraising for some time in order to fund free sessions and field trips for the young people to attend throughout 2023. The donation from our Central team will enable the club’s activities to continue, as well as helping with running costs during the cost of living crisis.

A spokesperson for Stoke Heath Youth Club, said: “We are incredibly grateful to Persimmon Homes for this kind donation. We’ve been working to raise money to allow the young people who spend time with us to benefit from extra-curricular activities - this boost will certainly help us in reaching our goals throughout the year.”

Sarah Preston, Sales Director at Persimmon Homes Central, said: “We’re always delighted to lend a hand to local schools and community groups to boost their ongoing initiatives or contribute to causes that mean a lot to them. It’s great to know that our donation will help Stoke Heath Youth Club to continue to provide fun activities for young people in the area, and we wish them the very best for the future.”
