Midlands team gives £1,000 cash boost to Towcester mental health charity

A mental health support charity in Towcester has received a cash boost to continue their work in the community, thanks to our Midlands team.

Life at No. 27 received a £1,000 donation from us as part of our Community Champions initiative.

The group provides gardening therapy, mental health support and counselling to children and adults struggling with mental ill health, isolation, low confidence and self-esteem, providing individual and group therapy sessions and after school clubs from their allotment and therapy garden in the town. Our funding will help the group to continue their work supporting the people in Towcester and the surrounding areas.

Annabelle Padwick at Life at No. 27 said: “We’re absolutely delighted by this kind donation from Persimmon Homes. Our goal has always been to create a supportive space for those who benefit from our work, and the money that Persimmon has kindly gifted us will help us to continue our work within Towcester.”

Claire Dearsley, Sales Director at Midlands region, said: “We’re delighted to show our support to Life at No. 27. What we do is about much more than just building homes, it’s about leaving a lasting positive legacy in the communities that we build in. We’re always delighted to lend a hand to local community groups to boost their ongoing initiatives or contribute to causes that mean a lot to them.”
