Midlands team provides boost to Northamptonshire bookshop’s Easter campaign

A Kettering-based independent bookshop has received a boost in time for Easter, thanks to a donation from our Midlands team.

The Beautiful Minds Bookshop creates hampers for young children to encourage them to become avid readers throughout childhood and beyond. During Easter, the bookshop has created hampers containing books, chocolate and toys, which will be donated to a local children’s centre. To support this campaign, the Midlands team donated £140 to the bookshop, which will cover the cost of 20 of these hampers.

Claire Dearsley, Sales Director at Persimmon Homes Midlands, said: “What we do is about so much more than building quality homes; it’s also about supporting the communities in which we build in a number of ways.

“We’re proud to support The Beautiful Minds Bookshop through funding these hampers, and it’s great to know that our donation will have such a positive impact just in time for Easter.”
