A Staffordshire primary school has secured a £6,000 donation to fund a refurbishment of its outdoor spaces, thanks to our West Midlands team.
Norton Canes Primary Academy received the £6,000 funding boost as part of our Community Champions initiative, enabling the school to bring a new lease of life to the school’s outdoor spaces, which include a playground and an area used as a forest school. The cash boost will also allow the PE department to continue to host guest schools for tournaments as part of its sports and wellbeing program.
Beth Hadley, Headteacher at Norton Canes Primary Academy said: “We are so grateful to Persimmon Homes and their kind donation of £6,000 via their Community Champions Fund. The support that Persimmon has given us will allow us to purchase a whole range of new outdoor resources for the school as we welcome new pupils in the next academic year.”
Daniel Hassall, Managing Director at Persimmon Homes West Midlands, said: “What we do is about much more than just building homes, it’s about leaving a lasting positive legacy in the communities that we build in. We’re always delighted to lend a hand to local schools and community groups to boost their ongoing initiatives or contribute to causes that mean a lot to them.”
“It’s an honour to be able to offer this support to Norton Canes Primary Academy, and we hope the pupils enjoy their new resources.”
