Mary Ann Evans Hospice has secured a £3,000 donation from our Central team, helping them to continue their services in and around Nuneaton.
Mary Ann Evans Hospice is a community Hospice providing accessible and high-quality care for patients and those close to them.
The hospice received the funding boost as part of our Community Champions initiative. The donation will go towards covering the cost of their services, including rapid response nurses, hospice at home, wellness centres and bereavement support.
Zoe Fawkner, Fundraising & Community Engagement Officer at Mary Ann Evans Hospice said: “It is such a privilege to be able to accept this donation from Persimmon Homes.
“The £3,000 donation will go towards providing vital end-of-life care to our patients and their families.
“We offer a variety of services, including Hospice at Home and Rapid Response, Family Support and Bereavement, Hospice Wellbeing Programmes, and a Lymphoedema Clinic.
“Because of generous donations such as this, we can continue expanding our services and supporting more and more people within the local community.
“We are extremely grateful for this donation and would like to extend our thank you to everyone involved at Persimmon Homes.”
Sarah Preston, Sales Director at Persimmon Homes Central, said: “What we do is about much more than just building homes, it’s about leaving a lasting positive legacy in the communities that we build in. We’re always delighted to lend a hand to local community groups to boost their ongoing initiatives or contribute to causes that mean a lot to them.”
“It’s an honour to be able to offer this £3,000 donation to Mary Ann Evans Hospice to help them continue their services in and around Nuneaton.”
