A Bedford-based centre to support those with neurological conditions has secured a £5,000 donation from our Midlands team, helping them to continue the work that they do throughout the region.

Bedford MS Therapy Centre received the funding as part of our Community Champions initiative. Bedford MS Therapy Centre is an independent charity serving people with Multiple Sclerosis (MS), Parkinson's, and related neurological conditions living in Bedfordshire, Northamptonshire and adjacent counties.

The group is raising funds to achieve its objective of helping people gain better control over their symptoms in order to lead healthy, active, independent lives, enabling an improved quality of life. Our donation will help the charity to continue its work throughout 2024.

Swarupa Vaingankar at Bedford MS Therapy Centre said: "We are very grateful to Persimmon Homes for their generous donation, supporting the therapies and holistic services our charity provides, to help people with MS lead active and independent lives. Their timely contribution also supports our expansion to benefit those with other neurological conditions like Parkinson’s. Thank you for making a big difference!"
