West Midlands team helps to install bench at Norton Canes memorial garden

Our West Midlands team has furthered its commitment to community engagement through the installation of a bench at a memorial garden in Norton Canes.

Our West Midlands team has been working with Norton Canes Parish Council as part of the wider Norton Hall Meadow development. In memory of a local resident, the Council has created a memorial space known as The Rose Garden, located off Hednesford Road. The team has helped to enhance this space by installing the bench purchased by the council and providing concrete slabs for it to stand on.

John Preece, Chair at Norton Canes Parish Council said: “Thank you to Persimmon Homes for their support in getting the Coronation bench installed. The Rose Garden is one of several projects the Parish Council will be taking forward this year.”

Daniel Hassall, Managing Director at Persimmon Homes West Midlands, said: “What we do is about so much more than building quality homes, it’s also about ensuring that we leave a positive legacy in the communities in which we build.

“We’re always keen to lend a hand to good community causes such as this one, and we’re pleased to see the memorial garden taking shape in the village.”
