A football club in Anstey has received a £1,000 donation from our North Midlands team as part of our Community Champions initiative.

Anstey Nomads U15s is a grassroots football team based in Leicestershire. The team sought support with funding for a new kit for the team as they train in the winter months.

Nadine O’Dowd, Sales Director at Persimmon Homes North Midlands, said: “What we do is about much more than just building homes, it’s about leaving a lasting positive legacy in the communities that we build in and doing this in the ways that have the most positive impact, whether this is to local schools, charities or in this case, to local sports teams.

“It’s a delight to be able to offer this donation to Anstey Nomads U15s FC, allowing the team to be provided with new kit and equipment ahead of the next season.”
