Central team appoints new Head of Land

Our Central team has strengthened its team with the promotion of a Land and Planning Manager to Head of Land.

Emily Berville Charlesworth has been with our Central team since 2018, joining as a Graduate Planner.

The promotion follows Emily’s recent win at the Insider Midlands Young Property Professionals Awards, where she took home the title of Young Property Professional of the Year. During her time at Persimmon, Emily has carved out a space in a male-dominated industry and established herself as having great leadership potential.

In her new role, Emily will provide overall strategic direction to the Land function at Persimmon Central, ensuring the region continues to deliver on its commitment to creating high quality homes.

Commenting on her promotion, Emily said “I’m absolutely thrilled to have been promoted to Head of Land, and for my hard work to have been recognised in this way. Over the last six years, my role has evolved significantly and with it, new and exciting opportunities have presented themselves. Most importantly, I’m so grateful for the team at Persimmon who have supported me throughout my career.”

Neil Williams, Regional Managing Director at Persimmon Homes Central, added "We’re delighted to have promoted Emily to Head of Land. Her skills and experience have been a real asset to Persimmon for years now and with her promotion, this will only continue to be the case.

“Providing homes and infrastructure of outstanding quality is integral to what we do at Persimmon, and having Emily’s support will help to strengthen that - ensuring that we continue to deliver the highest standards for customers, communities and stakeholders.”
