Persimmon Homes becomes latest supporter of Banbury Cricket Club

Persimmon Homes South Midlands has become the latest sponsor of Banbury Cricket Club.

The developer, who is currently building the Wykham Park estate in Banbury, is the latest name to offer support to the Club.

Re-established in 1949, Banbury Cricket Club now has nearly 200 youth players, from 5-19 year olds; one of the Club’s proudest achievements over the last few decades and a real cornerstone of the club's ongoing success.

Commenting on the sponsorship Martin Phillips, Club Chairman said: “We are immensely proud of the youth section we have built, and this is only possible with the ongoing support of companies such as Persimmon Homes. We’re delighted they have joined the ‘family’ and look forward to working them as the season progresses.”

Clare Bright, Sales Director at Persimmon Homes Midlands said: “At Persimmon Homes as well as building home, we are building communities which aligns very much with the ethos of Banbury Cricket Club.

They have a very engaged group of volunteers, coaches and parents, with an abundance of fixtures year-round and we’re delighted to be part of it. I wish them lots of success for the coming season.”

Persimmon Homes is currently building homes on Phase 2 at Wykham Park.
