Jack Bell, 20, was awarded £1,000 through our Community Champions scheme earlier this year as he prepared for the season ahead.
The rider has spent the past few months travelling around the country competing in the Pro Flat Track National Championship and two wins at the Welsh round saw him take the British title.
He said: “It feels so good to finally take this British title that I have been after for so long, it’s been a great season for us in the British championship winning the last three race meetings which helped massively towards this championship win.
“This year the bike and equipment has been top level, much better than previous years. All thanks to Persimmon and my other sponsors. I really do have a championship-winning bike.”
Jack is already eyeing up his next challenge, competing in the next four rounds of the FIM Flat track World Championship all over Europe this autumn.
Ben Smith, Managing Director of Persimmon Homes East Midlands, met Jack back in the spring as he handed over the cheque at our Holdingham Grange development in Holdingham, near Sleaford.
He said: “We would like to offer our congratulations to Jack on his success, it is an incredible achievement and is testament to his dedication to the sport over many years.
“We are delighted to have been a sponsor this season and look forward to supporting him in the future as he goes on to compete for international titles.”
