Advice and offers for first time buyers
03 April 2019
First time buyers in Suffolk can find out how to secure the keys to a new home at a special advice weekend in Framlingham.
Persimmon Homes (Suffolk) is hosting the event on 16-17 February from 10am to 4pm at its Persimmon Grange development on Mount Pleasant, and will be offering some added extras for people reserving their new home over the weekend.
Lucy Woodhall, head of sales, said: “We understand how daunting it can be to take your first step on the property ladder, so our experienced team of sales advisors and a new homes mortgage specialist will be on hand during this event to give invaluable advice and information. Buyers can find out how the Government’s Help to Buy: Equity Loan scheme works, bringing home ownership closer by reducing the size of deposit needed, and the mortgage specialist can help individuals to work out just how much they can afford.
In many cases, people find it is actually cheaper to buy their first home than carry on renting. We will also be offering carpets and vinyl flooring, a wardrobe fitted in the master bedroom and turf to the rear garden for anyone reserving their new home during the weekend, helping that budget to stretch even further.”
