Approval for 55 new energy-efficient homes at Norton Canes community

Approval has been granted by Cannock Chase District Council for the creation of 55 new homes in the Staffordshire town of Norton Canes.
The development – known as Norton Hall Meadow – is being delivered by the West Midlands team. Now on its third phase, the community brings a mix of new homes to the area, helping to address local housing need. As part of the wider site, the team also working to support infrastructure delivery, local job creation and ensure economic development.
Norton Hall Meadow is the first in the group to feature new house types which comply with the very latest building regulations and are of the highest standard of energy efficiency. Some of the measures included are increased levels of insulation, solar PV panels on each of the homes, as well as app-controlled EV car chargers.
