August sales launch at Hadleigh development
10 July 2020
The first new homes at a Hadleigh development are set to be released for sale next month.
Persimmon Suffolk will create 170 properties at Weavers Meadow, on Tower Hill Lane, providing a range of one, two, three and four bedroom properties to suit a wide range of local buyers.
Sales director Lucy Woodhall said: “We have already received more than 180 enquiries from people interested in buying at Weavers Meadow, so we expect the development to be incredibly popular when it opens.
“Hadleigh is a lovely market town and the development will create a sustainable, inclusive and mixed community of new homes, including the provision of 60 much-needed affordable homes.”
“The first phase of homes will be released for sale in August and we will be inviting local people to make an appointment with our sales advisors to discuss their requirements.”
All Persimmon Homes Suffolk developments are operating under strict Covid-19 social distancing safety guidelines, or the company can provide advice via the telephone and email.
The Weavers Meadow plans include sustainable features such as ten per cent of energy from renewable sources, electric vehicle charging points, wildlife habitats and water features, new cycle and pedestrian connections and a gym trail.
Persimmon will also be gifting part of the site to the council to generate 10,000 sq ft for employment use, comprising shops, food and drink outlets and office space, and making £550,000 of financial contributions for the local community, through a Section 106 agreement.
Lucy added: “Our scheme will provide funding towards a pre-school and the delivery of new, enhanced or improved public footpaths and strategic highway improvements, underlining our commitment to the long-term economic health of the town.”
