Awards underline Persimmon’s top quality
12 August 2011
Three of Persimmon Homes Yorkshire’s site managers have received Pride in the Job Quality Awards from the National House Building Council (NHBC), endorsing the leading homebuilder’s continuous commitment to first class standards.
Andrew Bowes, managing director for Persimmon Homes Yorkshire commented: “We pride ourselves on our high levels of quality at Persimmon and it is our staff who ensure that we maintain this throughout the business. I’m delighted that three of our site managers’ hard work and dedication have been rewarded by the NHBC.”
Richard Lillie, from Persimmon’s The Cloisters in Bridlington, Matthew Brooks at King Aethelstan in Sherburn in Elmet and Steve Baron at Staynor Hall in Selby have all received the accolade after being shortlisted from more than 13,000 managers UK-wide.
They will now go forward to compete in the next stage of the competition for the NHBC Seal of Excellence Award which is being announced later this year.
Pride in the Job is now in its 30th year and recognises site managers who consistently demonstrate commitment to building high quality homes to meet the exacting needs of new-home buyers.
The Awards are highly recognised by the house-building industry for helping to build individual careers and enhance professional reputations. Increasingly, homebuyers are now viewing a Pride in the Job Award as a guarantee of a quality product and excellent customer care.
