Bright sparks at Persimmon sponsor Christmas lights

Wednesfield High Street was filled with early festive cheer as hundreds of locals turned out for the Christmas lights switch on.The lights, sponsored by Wolverhampton-based housebuilder Persimmon Homes West Midlands, were officially switched on by Bert Turner, the Mayor of Wolverhampton, aided by Santa, and the Wolf Pack from Wolf FM were also out in force to whip up the excited crowd with fun and games and giveaways.
Claire Jarvis, sales director for Persimmon Homes West Midlands, said: “We were bowled over by the phenomenal number of people who came out to witness the Christmas lights being officially switched on! We are proud to have been announced as sponsor and to be part of the celebrations in Wednesfield as festive fever well and truly begins to grip the community!”
Persimmon, also been announced as sponsor of the Christmas lights at Bilston High Street and Upper Green, Tettenhall, is building at a number of developments across the region including Akron Gate on the Stafford Road and Abbot’s Field on Ettingshall Road.
