Central team gives £2,000 cash boost to Hillmorton Lions U123

A football team based in Rugby has secured a donation from our Central team to purchase a range of new jackets and training resources.

Hillmorton Lions U13s received the £2,000 funding boost as part of our Community Champions initiative. The team of youngsters are training to progress their career as well as to enjoy football on a regular basis.

To achieve the best results, the team needed support with purchasing new equipment to help them grow and develop further during their training sessions. The cash from Persimmon Homes will help to provide new training equipment for the team, as well as waterproof jackets for the colder months.

Rob Hope at Hillmorton Lions U13s, said: “We are so grateful to Persimmon Homes and their kind donation of £2,000 via their Community Champions Fund. The support that Persimmon has given us will allow us to build on our existing successes, offering the teams the chance to further their personal development, teamwork and athletic ability.”
