End of an era for Persimmon in Easingwold
26 November 2020
House hunters are running out of time to snap up one of the last remaining properties at a popular development of new homes in Easingwold.
The Weald, off Crabmill Lane, is a development of 79 new homes from Persimmon Homes and is nearing completion, with just a handful of properties still available.
It will be the end of an era for Persimmon, in the picturesque village of Easingwold, after building at two sites over the years in the sought-after location.
Tim Nixon, sales director of Persimmon Homes Yorkshire, said: “We always approach the final properties at a development with mixed feelings – joy at completing a project and seeing so many people settled into their new homes, but also a little sadness when we have been part of the local community.
“During our time in Easingwold we will have built more than 123 new homes and welcomed many more new customers.”“But there is a last chance for people to secure their dream home, with just two two-bedroom bungalows and a four-bedroom detached house remaining.”
The two-bedroom bungalows feature an open plan living and dining area with a separate front aspect kitchen. Prices start from £195,000.
Meanwhile, the four-bedroom Chedworth boasts a generous kitchen and family room with a spacious living room and separate dining area.
The upstairs features both an en suite and family bathroom with the price of £325,000.
Both bungalows are available to purchase under Government-backed Help to Buy scheme, while Persimmon’s Part Exchange and Home Change schemes are available for the four-bedroom detached home.
Tim added: “Although we currently have no plans for further developments in the Easingwold area, we are always exploring and considering potential land opportunities for the future.”
