Family values rewarded at Abbot's Field
16 November 2012
One of the first families to settle in at a new homes development in Bilston was rewarded with a cash prize when the West Midlands site hosted a live radio broadcast
Talia Croasdale and husband Michael scooped the £50 prize when Signal 107 presenter Dicky Dodd brought his show live from the site at a Persimmon West Midlands family event at the Abbot’s Field
development on Ettingshall Road, Wolverhampton.
Radio presenter Dicky Dodd made a special visit to the site to broadcast his show live from the ‘Wolves’ themed bedroom at the development show home.
The Croasdales had recently relocated into their three bedroom home at Abbot’s Field with their two young sons and scooped £50 worth of Argos gift vouchers in a prize draw on the day.
Talia couldn’t believe her luck when she found out she had won the vouchers saying: “I didn’t expect to win but it was a fantastic surprise and we’ve used them to buy some new furniture for our home.”
She added: “We specifically chose Abbot’s Field because of its location. We wanted to be close to our family who live nearby and also to get our two boys into the schools of our choice.”
“Everyone at Persimmon Homes has been so nice and professional throughout the process of buying our house.”
Stephen Cleveley, sales director for Persimmon Homes, said: “Everyone had a great time at the event, and we saw a lot of visitors to our range of show homes at Abbot’s Field, as well as the excitement of Dicky Dodd broadcasting his programme live from our site.
“The development is proving popular with people who need to commute into Birmingham or central Wolverhampton, because of its good transport links, and those looking to be close to leisure and shopping facilities, as well as local schools, like the Croasdale family.”
Homes at Abbot’s Field start at just £129,950 and incentives such as FirstBuy, NewBuy and Part Exchange are available.
