Fizz of excitement as mayor opens show home

05 December 2019

The Mayor of Falmouth was guest of honour at the launch of a stunning new show home on the outskirts of the town.

Councillor Steve Eva cut the ribbon at Eve Parc, the latest development from Persimmon Homes.

The opening event, on Friday, October 25, included celebratory fizz and nibbles.

Jane Cartwright head of sales for Persimmon Homes Cornwall, said: “We are enormously proud of this development and the stunning show home here, so we were honoured that the Mayor agreed to join us for the official opening.”

“Not only is Eve Parc in an excellent location for Falmouth town centre with its large range of shops, restaurants and pubs: it also has the added bonus of being close to the beautiful coastline and stunning beaches. The pristine Blue Flag beach of Gyllyngvase Beach with its golden sand is under a 10-minute drive away.”

“Eve Parc is a charming collection of two, three and four-bedroom homes to suit a wide range of buyers – from first time buyers and young professionals, to growing families or downsizers looking to release equity from their current property.”

Councillor Eva, who was accompanied by Mayoress Victoria Eva, added: “It is with great pleasure that I was able to officially open the show home at Eve Parc.”

“We must all plan for the future so that future generations can stay and live in the town they love. We must ensure Falmouth thrives and opportunities are grasped and I am committed to supporting improvements to the town where I was born and raised and our children were born and raised and where we all still live.”

Persimmon Homes is committed to contributing to the communities in which it builds.

Persimmon Homes donated £1,000 to the Friends of Tregoniggie Woodland, which was set up on 2013 to restore and improve the woods close to Eve Parc. The donation is being used to help fund path clearing and maintenance.

Jane added: “We have seen exceptional interest in Eve Parc since we began selling last year. We have sold 65 of the 104 homes planned for Phase One even before the show home was opened.”

“We are currently offering our Home Change and Part Exchange schemes, to help customers secure their dream home in Falmouth.”

“Call into Eve Parc to take a tour of the show home and find out how easy it would be to get the keys to your new home.”
