House buys get moving with new appointment
12 October 2011
Following the announcement of its half year financial results the leading house builder, is continuing to show signs of growth and positivity within the housing market with the appointment of Kevin Thubron into the role of sales manager within the Yorkshire region.
Kevin’s appointment to the Yorkshire based business sees him return to the company after a three year break. Formally based at Persimmon’s North East region, Kevin left the business to work for Knight Frank, before taking a second role with a local social housing provider.
With over 32 years experience in the property sector, Kevin will now be responsible for the management of the region’s sales team, in addition to researching land acquisitions and marketing across Persimmon Homes Yorkshire’s many developments.
Commenting on his recent appointment, Kevin says: “Persimmon Homes Yorkshire is one of the company’s largest businesses in terms of the area in which we cover. Our developments span across the whole of North Yorkshire, down the East Coast, across Humberside, Lincolnshire and through to South Yorkshire. Because of this, my role is both challenging but ultimately rewarding when I see those buyers who were previously struggling to get their dream home achieve it through our support.
“Persimmon Homes is a great place to work and the company’s ambition to grow further ensures I’ve joined once again at an exciting time.”
Persimmon Homes Yorkshire has recently been granted a £865,329 allocation from the Homes and Communities Agency (HCA), with the house builder now able to provide the first time buyer market with 73 new homes across the region through the FirstBuy scheme.
Kevin will be based in Persimmon Homes Yorkshire’s head quarters in the City of York.
