Housebuilder’s recognition for Northampton duo

Two Northampton construction experts have received recognition in the annual Persimmon Homes Achievers Awards.
Tom White and Chris Shaw, who work at the Persimmon Homes Midlands regional head office were named in the housebuilder’s search for its top talent and received certificates of commendation.
Tom White was nominated for the Duncan Davidson Award, named after the founder of Persimmon Homes and acknowledging those employees who embody his spirit of entrepreneurship and go the extra mile for the company and colleagues.
Technical director Paul Stones said: “Tom is a key contact for all regional departments, co-ordinating construction information and securing approvals. This is a crucial role that ensures all projects run smoothly and one that Tom performs incredibly well.”
Chris Shaw was nominated by sales director Claire Dearsley for the company’s Unsung Hero Award.
She said: “Chris has been with us for 14 years and is a reliable and trustworthy member of the sales team. Our saying in the Midlands is ‘if in doubt, ask Chris’, which sums up how important his experience is to our team.”
Regional divisional director (Central) Simon McDonald added: Everyone at the Northampton office is very proud of the contribution these colleagues make to the ongoing success of the business.
