Houses so good that Persimmon sales advisor buys one herself
09 June 2015
One of our sales advisors was so impressed with the development that she was working on that she bought one of the properties herself.
Naysha Turner is one of two sales advisors working at Persimmon Homes’ development called The Village, in Aveley, Essex. The more she showed customers around the site, the more she fell in love with it. Eventually Naysha took the plunge and bought a four-bed Chestnut style property – just yards from the sales office.
Naysha, 39, said: “Everyone is saying how great it must be living so close to work. While that is true, that really isn’t the reason why I bought at The Village. I had lived in my flat out of the area for 13 years. I started working for Persimmon a year-and-a-half ago and just fell in love with The Village.
“As is always the case with Persimmon, it’s a really great product. They are spacious houses and it’s a fantastic location just 20 minutes from the city. I think the fact that I’ve bought a house here gives my clients real confidence. Everything we sell here is off plan so they have to trust what we’re telling them. It gives them that bit of extra reassurance.”
Mum-of-one Naysha said The Village was proving very popular with a wide range of people. “It’s been popular with commuters and young families. Some weeks we have sold as many as five properties. There is a real mix of properties, anything from one bedroom to five bedroom.”
The Village is just off Aveley Bypass and is made up of 340 homes, of which 51 are apartments. The Government’s Help to Buy scheme is available on selected plots and the Persimmon Homes Part Exchange Scheme can also be used by people who want to sell a property with less hassle.
Norman Sharpe, sales director at Persimmon Homes Essex, said: “This is a wonderful development which really does have something for everyone. I’m really pleased that Naysha has found her perfect home and is settling in well.”Aveley is a small suburban town within the borough of Thurrock in Essex. It is just 16 miles from Charing Cross in London and within the eastern bounds of the M25 motorway. South Ockendon and Purfleet railway stations provide transport links directly into the City of London within approximately 30 and 40 minutes.
