A local primary school in Hucknall has received a festive donation from Persimmon Homes.
Hucknall Flying High Academy received a luxury hamper from the Nottingham regional business, as part of the school’s festive fundraising activities.
Louise Warren for, Hucknall Flying High Community Group, said: “We would like to say a massive thank-you to Persimmon Homes for their very kind donation.
“We rely on generous contributions like this to help us raise money for the school and pupils. The Christmas hamper is a wonderful prize to win, and we hope it helps encourage more people to buy tickets.”
Nottingham has recently launched its next phase of homes at its Hawkers Place development, located near to the school. The popular site will feature a new collection of 100 homes and is working towards opening a show home in the spring.
Neil Follows, managing director for Nottingham, said: “We were very happy to support Hucknall Flying High Academy festive activities. Fundraising for groups and charities has been particularly difficult recently so we like to support our local community where we can.
“We are delighted to be working on the next stage of our development at Hawkers Place and hope that we can welcome some of the families from Hucknall Flying High school into these new homes – welcoming them into our community.”
