Last chance to buy three-bedroom homes in historic Wiltshire town
21 August 2020
A historic town near Salisbury Plain has proved so popular with house hunters that there are now only a handful of properties remaining for sale on the Tidworth development.
Persimmon Homes South Coast is creating a new community in the town, which traces its history back to Neolithic times, with the World Heritage sites of Stonehenge and Avebury within easy reach.
Historically, farming was the main occupation before the arrival of the military in the 19th century. Today, public sector investment has made Tidworth the envy of the region and one of the fastest growing communities in Wiltshire.
Graeme Cole, Persimmon Homes South Coast sales director, said the historic town, together with its great commuter links, good schooling and excellent leisure facilities has seen the Riverbourne Fields development prove popular with buyers.
He added: “It is easy to see why these homes ticked all the boxes for our customers and we only have a handful of three-bedroom semi-detached homes available now.
“They are perfect for first-time buyers, professional couples or young families, and provide a great opportunity to live in this wonderful location. We would urge buyers to hurry if they don’t want to miss out.”
The Hanbury design offers practical living with a new open plan kitchen/diner with double doors leading into the back garden, a spacious living room and downstairs cloakroom. Upstairs, the master bedroom has an en suite, while bedroom three can also be used as a study. The family bathroom has modern fixtures and fittings.
Graeme added: “We have various schemes available to help people buy their perfect home, so moving couldn’t be easier.”
