Major new housing development gets underway
10 July 2012
Work is now underway to build a thriving new community in Redditch.
Persimmon Homes South Midlands will construct 171 homes on a 26 acre site off Hewell Road.
Pointers Way, positioned in an evaluated location, is expected to follow in the success of the housebuilders Windsor Height development, only metres away, and will provide much needed housing for people looking to step on or move up the property ladder.
Richard Oldroyd, managing director for Persimmon Homes South Midlands, said: “We are delighted to get construction underway and Pointers Way will benefit the local community with a variety of housing choices.
“The site is due for a August showhome opening with off plan enquires being taken already. The development will feature a mix of properties including two, three and four bedroom homes.
“Support will be available through a number of different housing initiatives and packages including Persimmon Homes Part Exchange and the Government-backed scheme, NewBuy, so we are able to offer potential purchasers the right home to meet their budget.”
Persimmon Homes South Midlands has a range of Persimmon Homes developments in Birmingham, Coventry, Malvern, Stourbridge, Worcester and Rugby.
