Mayor unlocks new homes for Blackburn buyers
25 February 2020
The Mayor of Blackburn with Darwen has formally opened the show house at a new homes development in the city.
Councillor Jim Shorrock was invited by Persimmon Homes to unlock the show home at The Blossoms in Ramsgreave Drive, giving local house hunters their first glimpse inside the four bedroom property.
John Roocroft, managing director for Persimmon Homes Lancashire, said: “Opening a new show home is always exciting for our team, but we were really honoured to be joined by the Mayor and Mayoress Linda Mahon at The Blossoms.”
Visitors can now see how the Kendal style house offers practical family living, with an open-plan dining kitchen with space for everyone to gather and access to the rear garden, as well as a separate living room and an integral garage.
Upstairs is a one bedroom with en suite, three more good-sized bedrooms and a family bathroom.
The Blossoms includes a range of two, three and four bedroom homes. Anyone interested can view a video tour of the show home and find more details at www.persimmonhomes.com/the-blossoms-10898
John added: “Buyers at The Blossoms may be eligible for the Government’s Help to Buy: Equity Loan scheme, meaning they could secure their dream home with just a five per cent deposit. Why not call our on-site sales advisor on 01254 495387 to discuss the options available?”
