More than half of houses at East Tilbury development sold
28 April 2016
More than half of the new homes at a development in East Tilbury have been sold – less than a year after going on sale.
76 of the 149 properties at the first phase of The Boulevards, Bata Fields, have already been snapped up.
The Boulevards opened for business in May last year and the development has proved to be very popular.
Kim Oates, head of sales for Persimmon Homes Essex, said: “We are delighted that The Boulevards has proved to be so successful.”
“Lots of people have already found their dream home – and I’m sure that the remaining properties will be reserved just as quickly.”
“We have seen a real range of buyers, from professionals who commute into London on the 50-minute train, to people who have lived in the area all of their lives and are either upsizing or downsizing.”
“It’s exciting to see families moving in and making The Boulevards home.”
The Boulevards is a collection of two, three and four bedroom homes, perfect for first-time buyers as well as those looking for more space.
Schemes to help people onto the property ladder are available, including the Government-backed Help to Buy. Under the successful initiative, it is possible to buy a new Persimmon Homes property with a deposit of just five per cent.”
Kim added: “We have a wide range of house styles available to suit every budget, with two bedroom semi-detached houses starting at £265,000.”
“Our sales advisers would be delighted to talk to people about the schemes on offer.”
