House hunters in Rotherham are being urged to act quickly if they want to live on a new development north of the town.
The Highfield Farm development, nestled between the villages of Wath-upon-Dearne and West Melton, is proving a hit with buyers, after selling six homes in the first week of opening. A small community of 66 homes is being built offering buyers a selection of two, three and four-bedroom homes in 12 different house styles.
Sales Director, Alastair Hart is not surprised with the developments early interest. He said: “We believe Highfield Farm is proving especially attractive because of its location. The development is on the edge of two charming villages which each provide all the facilities and amenities for everyday life. It’s also on the doorstep of some wonderful country parks, nature reserves, follies and attractions to keep you entertained, whatever your age".
“Highfield Farm is well connected with two train stations, within a five-mile radius, and easy road access to Rotherham, Doncaster, Barnsley and beyond. Home buyers can also benefit from the Government-backed Help to Buy scheme, which means people only need a five per cent deposit to buy their home. “We are encouraging customers to contact us at the Highfield Farm website for further information on the properties available,” concluded Alastair.
