New graduate planner starts at our South West region

29 November 2022

A new graduate planner has been appointed at our South West region in Exeter.

Harry Martin, joins the region’s land and planning team, after studying architecture and planning at the University of West England in Bristol.

Harry’s role will be involved in the planning application process for new sites, consulting local authorities, statutory consultees and members of the public, to ensure we deliver high-quality, sustainable developments across the South West.

Commenting on his appointment, Harry said:

“I’m delighted to have joined Persimmon Homes and the South West business has immediately made me feel part of the team.

“I have a great passion in the built environment, and I always wanted to pursue a career with combined my interests and skills in art and computing.

“Persimmon has a significant footprint in the South West with a number of exciting developments and upcoming projects, and I look forward to working to ensure we continue delivering good-quality homes in sustainable communities across the region.”

South West managing director, Dan Heathcote, said:

“It’s a pleasure to welcome Harry to Persimmon.

“Our business is only as strong as our people, and Persimmon recognises the importance of securing the future pipeline of talent to ensure we have a sustainable business.

“Construction is a great enabler of the South West economy, and we are proud of the local talent such as Harry we have within and are attracting to the business, as we build good quality homes for local people.”
