NEW HEAD OF CUSTOMER CARE FOR CORNWALL

Lucy Rickard has recently been appointed as the new head of customer care for Cornwall.
With a strong background in the UK housing market having previously worked for Barratt David Wilson and Linden Homes, Lucy spent time in customer care of a very different kind as airline cabin crew in her earlier career.
Lucy is a Cornish native having been born in Bude and knows the county and its people well. Commenting on her new role, she said: “My whole career has been involved in customer care, firstly as an air stewardess and then later in the housebuilding sector. This experience, coupled with my extensive knowledge of Cornwall and what its people are looking for in terms of housing, means I am very well placed for this role.
“Finding positive solutions for people and ensuring customer satisfaction is something I excel in and I am looking forward to working with the team to support our customers right across Cornwall.
“Buying a new home is a highly emotive situation for most people and I understand the need to work through any issues customers may face and ensure we achieve a positive outcome for them. Our mission is to make the customer’s journey as smooth-running and trouble-free as possible.”
Jane Cartwright, sales director for Cornwall, added: “We are delighted to be welcoming Lucy to the team here in Cornwall. We believe the way to ensure we deliver the best level of service is to have a first-rate customer care team in place, which is what we have established with Lucy now heading it up.
