A leading UK housebuilder has transformed eight acres of Black Country brownfield land into its latest development of much needed new homes.
Phoenix Wharf on Phoenix Street, West Bromwich, is a collection of 2, 3 and 4 bedroomed houses and 2 bedroomed apartments on the site of former factory buildings. The first homes have now been released for sale and include a 2-bed mid terrace house available for just £162,000 and a 3-bed detached property priced at £250,000.
Sandwell Metropolitan Council granted full planning permission last autumn for the erection of 128 properties, including two blocks of apartments, with associated roads, car parking, open space and works along with permission for the demolition of existing factory buildings.Construction is well underway on the site, with the first residents likely to move in by the end of April.
Sarah Preston, Sales Director Designate for Central, said: We are thrilled to finally release for sale our new homes at what is a fantastic site in West Brom.“The development is perfect for first time buyers and families, with a wide variety of stunning homes available. We have already had a huge amount of interest, particularly in our popular part exchange and home change schemes.”
Launch offers at the development include £1,000 towards legal and removal fees. Phoenix Wharf is well connected by road and rail to Birmingham and Wolverhampton with a wide variety of green spaces nearby including Sheepwash Local Nature Reserve and the 660 Sandwell Valley Country Park.
