New homes coming soon to Hadleigh
18 March 2020
Local house hunters are already registering to be among the first to secure a new home in Hadleigh.
Weavers Meadow development on Tower Mill Lane is set to launch later this spring, and more than 100 keen property purchasers have put their names down for chance to snap up their pick of the plots.
Lucy Woodhall, sales director for Persimmon Homes Suffolk, said: “Hadleigh has always proved a popular location for people looking to settle in a traditional market town. There is plenty to attract families, including good local schools and leisure facilities. We last built homes here more than five years ago, and this new development sits close to the original, very successful, Weavers Meadow site. We are delighted to be back in Hadleigh and look forward to welcoming residents old and new when we open the sales office. The development will include a range of one, two, three and four bedroom homes to suit a wide variety of buyers. Anyone interested is invited to register their details on the Weavers Meadow page on our website, to be kept updated when properties are released for sale.”
Weavers Meadow is surrounded by beautiful open countryside but within easy reach of local shops and commutable to Ipswich, Bury St Edmunds, Sudbury and Colchester. Hadleigh itself was made prosperous as far back as the 15th century, thanks to a vibrant wool and cloth industry, which inspired the name for Weavers Meadow. The picture-perfect market town is steeped in history and boasts an abundance of listed buildings.
