New homes coming to thriving market town
20 February 2015
Persimmon Lancashire is expecting a high demand for its new development after dozens of house hunters registered their interest in 50 new homes in Chorley.
The region is about to launch Chancery Fields, providing three, four and five-bedroom homes as well as new floodlit rugby facilities for the town, including a clubhouse.
Diane Finch, sales and marketing director, said: “This new development will provide a stunning range of house designs and we are already having a lot of interest even before the site opens.
We believe it will appeal to a real cross-section of buyers, including first-time, growing families and potential investors, as it is in a sought-after location.
The development offers a semi-rural setting with the added bonus of excellent transport links with easy access to the M6 and M61. There is excellent schooling nearby together with convenient shopping and leisure facilities. It really does offer the best of both worlds.
Chorley is nestled at the foot of the West Pennine Moors and has a wealth of history dating back to the Bronze Age. The town’s hour-long Heritage Trail passes some of the area’s highlights including Astley Park’s 43 hectares of parkland and Chorley Market, which has been famous for its local fresh produce since 1498.
Schemes will also be available to help buyers move into their dream home, including the Government-backed Help to Buy.
Under the shared equity scheme, buyers only need a five per cent deposit and are eligible for a 20 per cent loan on the term of a mortgage, which is interest and repayment free for the first five years.”
Diane added: “Home Change is also available and, if you are eligible, we arrange at least two valuations, agree a market price and use our expertise to help sell your existing property, with all estate agency fees paid. Help to Buy is also available with Home Change. We can also Part Exchange for eligible buyers as we aim to take away the stress of selling your own home.
We invite customers to register their interest now so they can receive all the latest information about the new homes.”
