New land director appointed for South East

A new land director has been appointed for South East region.
Chris Glover, who has worked in the building industry for more than 10 years, joins Persimmon from Countryside where he served as Senior Land Manager.
He will be responsible for overseeing land acquisitions, working closely with our planning team to develop progress across the South East to align with the region’s growth strategy.
Chris brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the business – During his career working for both private and PLC housebuilders he has secured a wide range of strategic and short-term opportunities, overseeing the purchase of over £500m GDV of development land across the south east.
