12 October 2021

Colin Parker has been appointed managing director of Persimmon Homes Anglia.
With more than 40 years’ experience in the housebuilding sector, Colin joined Persimmon from Bennett Homes, where he was operations director. Prior to that role he had worked with numerous developers, building an innovative and strategic management approach.
Colin oversees the Norfolk development portfolio, based at the Norwich regional headquarters.
He said: “Persimmon Anglia has built an enviable reputation, with several large-scale new homes developments throughout the region, together with considerable works in the pipeline. These are very exciting projects to be involved with, as they involve creating vibrant new communities for our customers.
“Working closely with the regional management team, my focus is to manage this strong position while bringing a fresh perspective, driving the whole region forward.”
Colin, who lives in Norwich, added: “I am particularly keen to work with schools and colleges in the region, encouraging more young people into all aspects of construction. There are great opportunities for young people in a variety of areas, from building design to planning, technical services and bricklaying.”
We currently have a number of developments underway in the region. Starting at under £200,000, these include Bluebell Meadow in Bradwell, Kett's Meadow in Hethersett, White Rose Park in Norwich and Elm Farm in Wyndmondham.
