New phase to launch at popular Lydney development
04 February 2021
The second phase of a popular new development in Lydney is set to be launched – bringing another 250 much-needed properties to the town.
Persimmon Homes has seen huge success at its Bishops Mead development on Par Four Lane, with just 20 of the 97 properties on phase one left to be sold.
But househunters need not fear as Persimmon is about to start work on the second phase of work, which will see a further 200 homes built on site.
Persimmon is building a total of 347 houses at Bishops Mead.
Victoria Williams, sales director at Persimmon Homes East Wales, said: “This site launched two years ago and we’ve seen consistently strong sales ever since.
“We’re delighted to be pushing forward with this second phase of work. We’d urge anyone interested to move fast to ensure they secure their preferred plot.”
The showhome at Bishops Mead is a beautifully proportioned three-bedroom detached Chester-style property.
Downstairs there is a front aspect kitchen/diner, spacious living room with French doors leading into the back garden, a large storage cupboard under the stairs and a cloakroom.
The first floor is home to a generous bedroom one and en suite plus two further bedrooms, storage cupboard and family bathroom.
Just 20 miles from Bristol, Bishops Mead is creating more than 1,000 jobs, based on figures from the House Builders Federation.
The stats show that 3.1 direct, indirect and induced jobs are created for every house built.
Victoria added: “We have something for everyone, from first-time buyers making that exciting step onto the property ladder, to professionals, downsizers and families.”
Prices start from £197,995. For more information, visit www.persimmonhomes.com or call 01594 800 591.
