Our North Midlands team has strengthened its land and planning team, with the promotion of Camilla Litherland to Land Manager and the appointment of David Gray as Planning Manager.
As part of the Leicester-based office, Camilla and David will work to source and purchase land for the business as well as progress the submission of planning applications, planning conditions, and processing Section 106 applications.
Promoted from Land Buyer, Camilla has worked for the North Midlands business since October 2021, joining the team from her previous role as Assistant Development Manager at a London-based property firm.
David’s previous experience spans both the public and private sector, having previously worked at organisations including Gedling Borough Council and Freeths LLP.
Commenting on her promotion, Camilla said:
“I’m delighted to have been promoted to Land Manager and am excited to continue to play my part in ensuring quality homes and communities are created by the business, by securing sites across our region which covers Leicestershire, Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire.
“Having worked for Persimmon for a number of years now, I have an in-depth knowledge of the business and its approach to land acquisition. I’m looking forward to utilising my knowledge in this new role and am excited for the new challenges and opportunities ahead.”
David added:
“I’m so pleased to have joined the team at Persimmon North Midlands and have already started to work on a range of exciting projects across the region.
“My experience across the public and private sector, as well as both in house and in a consultancy enables me to have a broad knowledge of the planning system which I hope will help the team to continue to navigate the planning process in a positive and proactive manner.”
Dan Endersby, Managing Director at Persimmon Homes North Midlands, said:
“We’re delighted to have strengthened our land and planning team with the promotion of Camilla and the appointment of David. Their skills and experience are a real asset to the North Midlands team and the business more generally.
“Providing homes and infrastructure of outstanding quality is integral to what we do at Persimmon, and having Camilla and David on board will help to ensure that we continue to deliver the highest standards for customers, communities and stakeholders.”
