A Thurmaston-based school has secured a £1,000 funding boost, thanks to our North Midlands team.
Church Hill C of E Junior School received a £1,000 funding boost as part of our Community Champions initiative. Church Hill C of E Junior works closely with the local village church and have the local Living Hope Church based at the school. Due to the current economic climate, more and more parents are struggling and need additional support. The donation helped to put together food parcels for some of the pupils' families.
Diane Brown, Headteacher at Church Hill C of E Junior School, said: “We cannot thank Persimmon Homes enough for their kind donation. These food parcels will make a real difference to some of our families.”
Nadine O’Dowd, Sales Director at Persimmon Homes North Midlands, said: “What we do is about much more than just building homes, it’s about leaving a lasting positive legacy in the communities that we build in. We’re always delighted to lend a hand to local schools and community groups to boost their ongoing initiatives or contribute to causes that mean a lot to them.”
“It’s an honour to be able to offer this support to Church Hill C of E Junior School and give a boost to the families who need it most.”
