North Midlands team gives £1,000 cash boost to Leicestershire child wellbeing organisation

An organisation which provides support for children’s mental health, wellbeing and education has secured a £1,000 donation from our North Midlands team.
Established in 2018, Little Beam Foundation supports children in education and with their mental health and wellbeing. Founders Tracey Lawrence and Kerry Hearsey had the aim to reach out to as many people as possible, raise awareness of difficult issues and unlock communication with children to allow them to be resilient and strong when faced with life and the variety of challenges it brings.
Kerry Hearsey at Little Beam Foundation, said: “We are so grateful to Persimmon Homes and their kind donation of £1,000 via their Community Champions Fund. The support that Persimmon has given us will allow us to continue to empower children and families to thrive in their education, mental health and overall wellbeing.”
Nadine O’Dowd, Sales Director at North Midlands, said: “What we do is about much more than just building homes, it’s about leaving a lasting positive legacy in the communities that we build in. We’re always delighted to lend a hand to local community groups to boost their ongoing initiatives or contribute to causes that mean a lot to them.”
“It’s an honour to be able to offer this support to Little Beam Foundation who do such brilliant work in and around the Leicestershire area.”
