North Midlands team helps to fund adventure holidays for vulnerable children in Derbyshire

A Derbyshire-based children’s charity has secured a £5,000 donation to fund a range of new resources and trips, thanks to our North Midlands team.

Go Beyond received the funding boost as part of our Community Champions initiative. The charity, which has a centre in Fenny Bentley near Ashbourne, gives children and young people children and young people facing serious challenges in their lives the chance for a break that lasts a lifetime.

Go Beyond’s staff and volunteers s give children and young people who have been bereaved, abused or bullied, who are living in poverty or caring for loved ones the chance to escape their worries and pressures on a break in the countryside; putting magic into their lives through simple, traditional holidays with no screens and lots of time spent outdoors.
