Our North Midlands team has furthered its commitment to community engagement through the installation of a bench at its development in Boulton Moor, Derby.
The team has been working with Elvaston Parish Council as part of the wider Buttercup Leys development in the city. The team has helped to enhance this space by installing the bench purchased by the council.
Cllr Mark Brown, Chair at Elvaston Parish Council said: "Elvaston Parish Council really appreciate Persimmon Homes' kind offer to install the Platinum Jubilee bench in the Boulton Moor area of Elvaston Parish.
“A number of benches were purchased to commemorate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee, and we were very keen to ensure that Boulton Moor residents were included as they are a key part of the parish as a whole."
Sean Barratt, Technical Director at Persimmon Homes West Midlands, said: “What we do is about so much more than building quality homes, it’s also about ensuring that we leave a positive legacy in the communities in which we build.
“We’re always keen to lend a hand to good community causes such as this one, and we’re pleased to have helped the Parish Council install this bench at our Buttercup Leys development.”
