North Midlands team renews sponsorship of Garendon Gallop

Our North Midlands team has renewed its sponsorship of a 10K race taking place on the grounds of the Garendon Park estate in Loughborough.

The team has supported the Garendon Gallop since 2021, helping the race to boost its profile regionally. Hosted at Garendon Park – where we are currently developing a community of over 3,000 homes – this year’s race takes place on Sunday 4th August and has attracted beginners, local club runners and regional elite athletes alike since its inception in 2019.

The one-lap course has a full licence and is chip timed. The route is traffic-free, off-road, mainly on track, private roads and playing fields. The course passes the estate’s numerous monuments, which have been preserved by Persimmon Homes as part of the development. These include the Triumphal Arch, the Obelisk and the Temple of Venus.

As part of this year’s event, we will be working with Team GB to help attract more runners to Garendon Park for the race.
