Persimmon Homes lines up independent advice for Carlisle buyers

17 March 2020

Househunters in Carlisle are invited to find out how to save time, money and stress when buying a new home.

Persimmon Homes is hosting a special Part Exchange Information Weekend at its Tarraby View development on 28 and 29 March, from 11am to 4pm.

An independent financial advisor will be on site to talk through the options available to purchasers and provide impartial information and guidance.

Diane Finch, sales and marketing director for Persimmon Homes Lancashire, said: “Anyone who has experienced the frustration of being stuck in a chain when trying to buy a house will understand the stress and anxiety it can cause.”

“For them, our Part Exchange scheme could well be the perfect solution, helping them to move more quickly and with much less hassle.”

“Those who are thinking of moving but have not yet put their existing property on the market can also benefit from having a guaranteed buyer lined up – us!”

“During our Part Exchange weekend at Tarraby View, prospective purchasers can get a free part exchange valuation on their existing home. We look forward to helping local people find out how this and other schemes can help them secure the keys to their dream home.”

Persimmon’s Part Exchange scheme sees the company agree a fair and realistic purchase price for the existing property, based on independent valuations. The buyer can then reserve their new Persimmon home while the company’s appointed estate agents handle the sale of the old house.

Diane added: “Part Exchange also makes great financial sense, saving estate agent’s fees which can quickly mount up if there are delays in selling the old house.”

“We look after the whole process, so our customer doesn’t need to worry at all about the sale. There is no chain to break down and they are able to stay in the old property until their new Persimmon homes is ready to move into.”

Tarraby View, on Windsor Way, is a collection of two, three and four bedroom homes. Part Exchange is available on selected plots, subject to status, and terms and conditions apply.

Persimmon can also arrange personal and telephone appointments with an independent financial advisor after the Part Exchange weekend.
