Persimmon Homes South Midlands has welcomed the decision by Solihull Council’s planning committee, to grant permission for a new £20m development at Marston Green, Solihull.
A South Midlands house builder has welcomed the decision by Solihull Council’s planning committee, to grant permission for a new £20m development at Marston Green, Solihull.
Persimmon Homes South Midlands, plans to build 125 homes on the 13 acre site at Moat House Farm, providing much-needed places to live for local people and families.
The house builder is pleased with the planning committee’s decision as Richard Oldroyd, managing director at Persimmon Homes South Midlands explained.
He said: “Obtaining planning consent for the Moat House Farm development is a major landmark for both Persimmon Homes and the local area. The approval of the plans will benefit the local community with much needed housing and jobs.
“The site redevelopment will provide a mixture of two, three and four bedroom homes, suitable as first-time buyer starter homes through to larger properties for growing families.
“With support available, through various schemes and initiatives, Persimmon is able to offer potential purchasers the right house to meet their budget.”
Properties at Moat House Fields are expected to go on sale later this year.
