Persimmon Homes Wessex region attended a careers fair for young children in Calne to speak with pupils about what the housebuilding industry can offer.
The event at Priestley Primary School is just a stone’s throw away from the now-completed Regent Park development, constructed by Persimmon.
Persimmon Homes Wessex’s management accountant Laura Wilkey, infrastructure project manager Adam Rebdi, and construction coordinator Aidan Bramwell were at the fair, promoting the house-builder as a career option.
Persimmon is proud to be one of the UK’s most successful house-builders, committed to the highest standards of design, construction and service, and opening the opportunity of homeownership to thousands of families every year who might otherwise not be able to afford it.
Persimmon Homes Wessex region Managing Director Julian Roper said:
“Persimmon is committed to building more than just houses – our business is homes and communities which is why attending events like the Priestley Primary careers fair is important to us.
“I am delighted to hear about how our team got on, having plenty of positive discussions and engagement with children from years 4, 5, and 6, as well as interested parents.
“Championing the widespread career opportunities available in the construction industry matters to future generations because it is their future homes we are building and creating good quality, local jobs means they can continue to live in the areas where they grew up.”
