Property developer clicks with online house hunters

Persimmon Homes in Scotland is harnessing the power of the internet to help computer confident house hunters to find their dream home.
Persimmon Homes and the company’s premier stablemate, Charles Church, are showcasing their developments on YouTube, enabling potential purchasers to get a video preview before visiting their show homes.
John Cassie, Persimmon Homes Scottish regional chairman, said: “We know that more and more people are using the internet to do their research before going out and looking at new homes, so it made sense to us to create videos to help provide a greater insight to our developments and the surrounding area.
This is evident in our ‘Kilmarnock destination to live’ film which features our two developments and highlights the many benefits of living there.”
“Already more than 562 people have viewed our tour of Rowallan Castle in Kilmaurs, with several mentioning it when they go to visit the development.”
Not only do the videos give buyers a glimpse of the lifestyle on offer inside the properties, they also introduce the viewer to the benefits of the local vicinity and its many amenities.
In addition the videos reveal the many schemes and incentives available for homebuyers to purchase their home as swiftly as possible.
John, concluded: “We have only recently launched the service and are presently building the portfolio of videos and look forward to receiving customers feedback to assist with our future recordings.”
