Sarah bags promotion
24 April 2018
An ambitious property professional has continued her climb up the ladder.
Sarah Foulkes has been promoted from sales administrator/marketing co-ordinator to trainee sales manager at Persimmon Homes. She has also switched from the builder’s East Wales regional business to West Wales, which has its headquarters in Swansea.
“It was time for a change,” said Sarah, who is 37 and lives in Llantrisant.
“I’ve been with the company for eight years, so I know a lot about the business and the industry. It’s just about applying that knowledge to the new role and doing things in a new way. “I have attended the company’s group management training course and I’m working with Justin John (regional training manager) to develop those skills. “It’s been fantastic so far. I am really looking forward to the new challenge.”
Sarah started with the company as a part-time receptionist before moving into sales. Her children are now in full-time education, which has encouraged Sarah to push on with her career with Persimmon.
Sharon Bouhali, sales director at Persimmon Homes West Wales, said: “It’s great to welcome Sarah onto the team. “I actually interviewed Sarah for her first job on reception eight years ago so it’s nice to see she has progressed through the ranks and is now in a management role.
“At Persimmon we take great pride in the way we develop our staff and give them opportunities to improve.” Sarah is currently looking after three sites: Cwrt y Llwyfen in Carmarthen, Parc Brynderi in Llanelli and Maes y Parc in Cross Hands.
