Sean Gibbs is flourishing in his new role as Persimmon Homes Contracts Manager – and is determined to play his part in retaining five-star status.
Sean, 31, has made the move to our East Wales region, based in Llantrisant.
He joins the business having previously worked as Senior Site Manager at two housebuilders in the Bristol area.
Sean, who lives in Chepstow, said: “I’m delighted to be at Persimmon Homes. Everyone has been very welcoming and the transition has been seamless.
“The focus on quality as well as volume has already become very clear. Persimmon is on a positive journey and it’s great to be part of that.
“We were awarded the five-star rating in the annual HBF survey in April and the main focus now is on maintaining it.”
Sean started out as an apprentice carpenter with a leading housebuilder before rising through the ranks.
He is currently looking after three sites in Lydney, Llanwern and Barry, overseeing the progress of construction work, supervising site managers and leading on snagging, while ensuring quality and health and safety standards are met.
“It’s a busy job with lots going on and I love it,” said Sean, a father of three young boys.
“I can’t wait to see what the future holds and to push on with my career.”
Lee Woodfine, Managing Director of our East Wales region, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Sean on board. He has excellent experience of delivering first-class developments which leave a lasting legacy in the areas they are built.”
