The second phase of a new development in Spetchley has been launched – bringing another 113 much-needed properties to the area.
Persimmon Homes has seen huge success at its Whittington Walk development on Swinesherd Way, where a total of 300 new homes are being built. The first phase of work is now all but complete, but househunters need not fear as Persimmon has started work on the second phase.
Amanda Rogers, head of sales at Persimmon Homes South Midlands, said: “The new-build property market remains buoyant, as demonstrated by the success we have seen at Whittington Walk. This site launched in the second half of 2018 and we’ve seen consistently strong sales ever since. We’re delighted to be pushing forward with this second phase of work. We’d urge anyone interested to move fast to ensure they secure their preferred plot.”
There is selection of two, three, four and five-bedroom homes currently available at Whittington Walk. As part of the development a new footbridge has been built over the A4440 which has opened to the public to provide connectivity from the site to Worcester.
The development is helping to provide around 1,200 jobs, including direct staff, contractors and the wider supplier network. Whittington Walk is set in a village location with excellent commuter links. The scheme offers a range of house styles to suit first-time buyers, young families, investors and downsizers.
